I got to actually play Ronnie Baker Brooks' guitar last night during his show! He came into the crowd and handed it right to me while he grabbed a refreshment! So I can say I played in the RBB Band, for a few minutes at least. He is a great ambassador for the Blues and a true class act. All I can say is WOW!

I'm very happy to report that The David Gerald Band, along with the wonderful Rusty Wright Band won the two DBS Blues Challenge spots last Sunday. So we are headed to the local finals in October. The winner of that goes to Memphis. Wish us luck! Thanks and peace.

On June 4th, Callahan's, the Detroit Blues Society, and WCSX welcome Blues guitarist, Ronnie Baker Brooks, back to the Motor City in concert at CALLAHAN'S, wsg local Blues sensation The David Gerald Band!

We will also have tickets available at our 5/21 McCarthy's Blues Jam & 5/22 show at Sidelines Sports Tavern.

Tickets are $25 each. All seating is General Admission seating and offered on a first come-first serve basis. Plan on coming early for best seating. Callahan's offers a special Show Menu and cash bar service throughout the night. Doors open at approximately 6:30PM.
